Ok, that trace did indeed help me. What is missing is this patch: http://git.libav.org/?p=libav.git;a=patch;h=0109a09dc3850eb5dbff84a7bb50eb252a5a8f22 I will see to backport it, which in turn should fix the crash. Thanks for the bug report!
