The _DEPENDENCIES part seems to be the important part here (as I "misuse" some implementation details of automake). Did someone try to automatically generate the list of dependencies with the .libs directory prefix? If not, has someone a little bit of time to give it a try (this way we don't have to change the .nas.lo part, and we keep the object files where the auto* tools expect them)?
