I have uploaded a new version of the advene package, at http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/a/advene/ It now uses CDBS, which greatly simplifies the rules file. I am now looking for a DD team member who would create a git repository on alioth for it (for the moment I have uploaded the gbp tree at http://advene.org/debian/advene.git ), and also consider my inclusion in the pkg-multimedia team. I have created and alioth account, and am subscribed to both mailing-lists. I have been using Debian for 15 years, am familiar with bug reporting issues, and already created some personal packages. I gained more experience in package creation by properly repackaging Advene recently. I am ready to collaborate on multimedia package maintenance, especially in the video domain.
