So, I think we will not make for The Ubuntu freeze on June 24th. :( That's too bad. I wish I had enough knowledge and experience and packaging to solve this right away. The upstream team would have liked to make it for the next Ubuntu Maverick, so that we could ask it to be bacported to Lucid. (the current Long-Term-Support Ubuntu distro) Anyways, as I said before, it is likely that I will package more software containing both Python and C++ code, so it is an important exercise, I guess. If anyone has suggestions on readings or trials I can make, don't hesitate to tell me.
