Hey, > OK. No problem. But right now, there's not much I can do. Both package > requires at least Qt 6.10, so I'll wait for the base package to get updated > then I'll begin my work. Did you contacted Yifei for plasma-keyboard? I did not see any update on#1116351. If you contacted Yifei: please add a small update to #1116351; it is easier to follow, especially if you or Yifei ask for sponsoring the upload. If you didn't contacted Yifei, please do so - the recommended way is via #1116351, so others can follow. Btw. from the bug report it is not obvious, that you want to be part of the Qt/KDE Maintainers. The Maintainers line is written like that, but is it not expressed in the bug report. As Debian has a strong maintainer role, we as team cannot take over a package against the will of a maintainer. So that statement must be done by Yifei and you. Qt 6.10 is already available in experimental, so you can build against that version and make sure it builds and is functioning when you are targeting experimental for plasma-keyboard. With this we already add it to NEW queue and wait till it get accepted into Debian, that is a very valid way. The move from experimental to unstable can be done, when Qt 6.10 enters unstable. Targeting experimental is also good, as you can also get some feedback and fix the biggest issue, before a lot users get it. Regards, hefee PS: there is no need to add my mailaddress in the recipients, as I get reply via the list anyways.
