- Qt WebKit is not part of Qt (QtWebEngine is)
- it is not maintained and certainly full of security holes.

I'll let more knowledgeable team member complete / correct my response where

I thought it was a more-or-less collaborative action with Ubuntu
at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/goldendict/+bug/2100639 .

and the removal was triggered by https://bugs.debian.org/1069574#34
(in CC list).

I also beleive we should add this information onto
