Hi everyone,
I would like to know more about current status for Qwt package. Qwt with Qt6 dependencies is needed by QGIS [0] to build with Qt 6 support but is yet missing in current Debian distribution. We plan to release a Qt6 based QGIS LTS version the 2026-06-26, but it would require to have a Qt6 based Qwt package. Current version of Qwt package libqwt-qt5-6 is 6.1.4-2 in stable, testing, and unstable. This package relies on Qt 5 dependencies. There is a 6.3.0-1 version which has moved into experimental recently (2025-03-30) and which relies, it seems [1], on Qt 6 dependencies. Is this package planned to move to unstable, and maybe later to testing ? Is there any blocking issues that remain to be fixed ? How can we help to move things forward ? Sorry if this is not the right place for my question.
