We would prefer if the packaging would also move to salsa, so that
others here have access and can work on the package in case urgent need
arises.

If this is not an option, at least I can request access to the
repository on gitlab.

Well, there is not much of a "KDE Extras Team" ;-) Everyone here helps
here and there, and we will surely try our best to help you.

But - and that is somehow important - the team here is already rather
overloaded due to the huge amount of packages.

If you want the calamares-extension in Debian, that is fine with us, and
we will surely help, but it would be great if you could care for the
package in the future. Thanks for your understanding.
