First a big thanks at Steve for packaging digikam!
I proposed an information on the welcome page about the configuration
transition. I hope this is included before 5.1.0:

I will keep you posted. I would really like to see digikam5 in
non-experimental debian repo soon!
On a side note: Is bug triaging on this package welcomed?
