Package: kwin-style-crystal Version: 2.2.1-2+b1 Severity: important Tags: upstream
Apparently, this KWin style is no longer compatible with the new KDE version that just landed on Testing: after installing my usual round of updates (including one for KWin), Crystal style is gone - it doesn't load, you can't select it anymore from the Window Decoration settings... There is this bug report on upstream: https://github.com/shlusiak/kwin-style-crystal/issues/1 The reason of breakage seems to be that KDE removed the KDecoration API used by Crystal, and porting to the new API is a non-trivial task. Unfortunately this means part of my KDE eyecandy is gone for good, if we can't find someone willing to assume the challenge. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.0.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=es_VE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_VE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages kwin-style-crystal depends on: ii libc6 2.19-19 ii libkdecorations4abi2 4:4.11.13-2 ii libkdecore5 4:4.14.2-5 ii libkdeui5 4:4.14.2-5 ii libkio5 4:4.14.2-5 ii libqt4-qt3support 4:4.8.7+dfsg-1 ii libqtcore4 4:4.8.7+dfsg-1 ii libqtgui4 4:4.8.7+dfsg-1 ii libstdc++6 5.1.1-14 kwin-style-crystal recommends no packages. kwin-style-crystal suggests no packages. -- no debconf information _______________________________________________ pkg-kde-extras mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-kde-extras
