Hello Hans,
However, no icon. Smb4k is starting, then crashing. There is also no
process running which is named smb4k or similar.
Ah, ok, from the description I was under the impression the process is
running but not showing a window.
So what does it write to the konsole when started from the command line?
Is there some output added to dmesg when the process is gone:
# dmesg -T | tail
Further steps could be to install systemd-coredump and look
at the end of the journal when the process is gone - it could
contain already a backtrace.
# journalctl -e
There are several ways to get more or improved
information described here:
https://wiki.debian.org/HowToGetABacktrace
Kind regards,
Bernhard
