I would agree that it would make sense, if adopted upstream. But doing it locally for Debian makes little sense IMO: If applied only to the nodejs itself it has too little impact, and if applied via our JavaScript Policy to all Node packages I fear it to be too much work, too error-prone (due to not being caught when both names are provided) and confuse more than it helps.
