Hi, The following vulnerability was published for node-braces. CVE-2024-4068[0]: | The NPM package `braces`, versions prior to 3.0.3, fails to limit | the number of characters it can handle, which could lead to Memory | Exhaustion. In `lib/parse.js,` if a malicious user sends "imbalanced | braces" as input, the parsing will enter a loop, which will cause | the program to start allocating heap memory without freeing it at | any moment of the loop. Eventually, the JavaScript heap limit is | reached, and the program will crash. https://github.com/micromatch/braces/issues/35 If you fix the vulnerability please also make sure to include the CVE (Common Vulnerabilities & Exposures) id in your changelog entry. For further information see: [0] https://security-tracker.debian.org/tracker/CVE-2024-4068 https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2024-4068 Please adjust the affected versions in the BTS as needed. -- Pkg-javascript-devel mailing list Pkg-javascript-devel@alioth-lists.debian.net https://alioth-lists.debian.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-javascript-devel
