* https://crbug.com/405338 seems inaccessible to at least two people * https://codereview.chromium.org/555943003 was initially proposed to resolve that bug * https://codereview.chromium.org/583163002 was chosen instead, for reasons of simplicity and performance concerns It is the latter codereview (583163002) that introduced the reduction in the stack size on ARM (that the patch in this bug thread removes).
