Please beware that some packages "missing" some simple tasks may have good reason for that.
As a concrete example, source package jsbundle-web-interfaces "lack" a Homepage in control file, and an Upstream-Name in copyright file - both because that is nonsense for a bundle-only package - none of its components is semantically the "main" one despite technically one of them need to be treated as such. If in doubt, ask those who have worked on the package before - they might know what they were doing (just might - I am not saying mistakes are never made).
