Hello,
I do plan to update it, but the new upstream version is currently
blocked by missing build-dependencies (primarily Babel 7); I'll revisit
it once that work is complete. Upstream is not interested in merging the
packaging-related changes so I'm trying to keep Debian-specific
modifications to a minimum.
The code on salsa.d.o has already been updated to remove the dependency
on node-json3; the polyfill isn't necessary for modern browsers.
Unfortunately the package is currently unbuildable due to the removal of
node-jquery 2, so I can't update it until I upgrade to a Rainloop
version that supports jquery 3.
Packaging jquery-migrate may be a viable workaround for this (and the
new upstream version requires it) but I've been busy with other projects
lately. I'll look into it but it may take some time.

Hi,
rainloop blocks node-json3 removal and uses unsatisfiable Build-Depends
[node-jquery (<< 3.0.0)]. It has been removed from testing some month ago.
Do you plan to update it or could you ask for a removal from Debian archive
