Hi all,

I had been having a long running issue with riot-web as shared in [1]

One of the causes seems to be the old nodejs that we have while
upstream uses the latest nodejs as shared in the picture attached.
Chromium seems to be a bit behind but not much, electron is not
packaged to Debian so no sense of that. I am unable to use riot-web
because of the error.

Also see -

We are using Node.js 12.8.1, Chromium 78.0.3904.113, and Electron 7.1.2.

I do see -

[813750:1126/185406.776005:ERROR:buffer_manager.cc(488)]
[.DisplayCompositor]GL ERROR :GL_INVALID_OPERATION : glBufferData: <-
error from previous GL command

but am not sure where this belongs.

I also did see Praveen mail [2] which in turn leads to the javascript
transition issues [3] .

Looking forward to know how things can be set right.
