The binary h5perf in the hdf5-tools package requires the library libh5test-1.6.5.so.0 which is not in any binary package. Aha, it defines PUB_LIB= so PUB_LIB=$(LIB) is ignored. The attached patch fixes this, and makes the install_shlib and install_devlib files more general so it gets installed in the package.
