** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #648317 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=648317 ** Changed in: warsow (Ubuntu) Status: New => Won't Fix -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Debian/Ubuntu Games Team, which is subscribed to warsow in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/323745 Title: Warsow is linked against non existent libopenal.so.0 Status in “warsow” package in Ubuntu: Won't Fix Status in “warsow” package in Debian: New Bug description: Binary package hint: warsow System : Ubuntu Intrepid Packages : warsow-0.42.dfsg1-1 / libopenal-1:1.3.253-4ubuntu1 When trying to switch to openal as sound module in warsow it gives an error message similar to "libopenal.so.0 no found" while libopenal1 comes with libopenal.so.1 instead. A symlink solves the problem. The package warsow needs to be relinked / rebuild against current libopenal. libopenal is required to get surround sound as far as I know.
