Package: evolution-dev Severity: wishlist I'm lead maintainer of Evolution and I do most of my Evolution development these days on Debian stable.
Currently there's a bunch of API documentation files in the evolution-dev package. I was hoping you could split these off into a separate "evolution- doc" package as you have with "evolution-data-server-doc", just so I can install the Evolution API documentation from more recent versions in testing..experimental without having to upgrade my whole desktop to satisfy Evolution's build dependencies. I like having the API docs up in Devhelp as I work. This package split would be most helpful to me. -- System Information: Debian Release: 7.1 APT prefers stable APT policy: (900, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-4-686-pae (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages evolution-dev depends on: pn libcamel1.2-dev <none> pn libebackend1.2-dev <none> pn libedataserver1.2-dev <none> pn libedataserverui-3.0-dev <none> pn libevolution <none> ii libgconf2-dev 3.2.5-1+build1 ii libgnome-desktop-3-dev 3.4.2-2 ii libgtk-3-dev 3.8.0-1 ii libgtkhtml-4.0-dev 4.4.4-1 ii libgtkhtml-editor-4.0-dev 4.4.4-1 ii libxml2-dev 2.8.0+dfsg1-7+nmu1 evolution-dev recommends no packages. evolution-dev suggests no packages. _______________________________________________ Pkg-evolution-maintainers mailing list [email protected] http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-evolution-maintainers
