hi, to fix the evolution password problem; change your account settings
>> Edit>>Preferences>>MailAccounts icon >>select your account from list>>Edit button>>Receiving Email Tab,,, >> Change 'Server Type' from POP to IMAP >> Server must be prefixed with 'imap' e.g. imap.rogers.net this will fix the password into gnome keyring and stop asking you for it !
