Dear Christoph, I do not have any arm* devices, and so can not remove the block to pushing `clisp' to jessie-backports.
I shall therefore build my own `clisp' packages for my own repository, and insert the `~bpo8+1' string in the DEB package titles as recommended by < http://backports.debian.org/Contribute/>. Given my long standing interest in Common Lisp, I would like to at least monitor developments at Debian, and have therefore submitted a subscription request to the pkg-common-lisp-devel mailing list.
