It looks like something strange happens on your computer. The file is
present in the package (you can check it with dpkg) and is also present
on the disk drive after package installation. I'd suggest to double
check the file isn't present after `slime' gets installed. If it's
indeed not there then you should investigate what's happening on your
machine, I can't think of any easy explanation now.
