Some comments:
- You should always check current Standards version (and changes) and
put it in debian/control.
- You should switch to source format 3.0 (probably nothing more than
editing debian/source/format in these packages).
- cl-asdf package adds LICENSE file in the Debian patch, which is
strange, especially when upstream contains everything including Debian
packaging. Any special information about licensing added/summarized
by Debian should go to debian/copyright.
