Package: clamav-unofficial-sigs
Version: 3.7.2-2
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,
        most people use the manual installing procedure of the
clamav-unofficial app (you can find everywhere in the www) because the debian
package is faulty since a long time.
        But installing the debian package could be working out-of-the-box when
having my patches included. Then the installation has much less expenses than
the manual installing procedure, which means a big advantage in my opinion.

        Concrete: The installation fails because of no longer valid urls and
databases and missing path-information inside the binary

        So I patched the package and its configuration file:
        sed -i
"s/^si_url=\"clamav.securiteinfo.com\"/si_url=\"www.securiteinfo.com\"/"
/usr/sbin/clamav-unofficial-sigs
        sed -i
"s/^mbl_url=\"www.malwarepatrol.net\"/mbl_url=\"lists.malwarepatrol.net\"/"
/usr/sbin/clamav-unofficial-sigs

        sed -i "s/if clamscan/if \/usr\/bin\/clamscan/"
/usr/sbin/clamav-unofficial-sigs
        sed -i "s/clamscan --infected/\/usr\/bin\/clamscan --infected/"
/usr/sbin/clamav-unofficial-sigs
        sed -i "s/clamscan --quiet/\/usr\/bin\/clamscan --quiet/"
/usr/sbin/clamav-unofficial-sigs

        Then I made a default configuration file:
        /etc/clamav-unofficial-sigs.conf.d/local.conf
        #As the version in Debian is quite outdated, it tries by default to
download some
        #files that don't exist anymore. This is fixed by creating file:
        #/etc/clamav-unofficial-sigs.conf.d/local.conf

        log_file_path="/var/log"
        reload_dbs=yes

        si_url="www.securiteinfo.com"
        # Empty db-list because they are no longer running on securiteinfo.com
        # https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=783228
        si_dbs=""

        #The whole www.malwarepatrol.net seems to be dead right now
        #mbl_url="www.malwarepatrol.net"
        #But the lists.malwarepatrol.net site still seems to be up
