Hi Andrés, > In today Pilcon I had an interest in penti keyboard and decided to test it > , so I've installed it from Android Store into my android 7.1.1 phone. > > I had to activate it as a virtual keyboard and select it as default > keyboard, but when try to use it something is wrong, I see a word "Pent" in
This is all correct and good so far. > the middle of screen and no circles at all and I cannot type anything, but At this point you should touch the screen with all five fingers, in a natural convenient position. Then five cicles should appear. They will follow your hand and finger movements, until you release at least one finger. Then the circles will stay in place. > when moving the phone I see a lot of random symbols typed in. There are no keys generated until you did the above calibration. But I have an idea what could happen: If you press the hardware Volume-Up or -Down keys, Penti generates special data for remote controlling the mouse cursor (I also briefly showed this today). It generates text like Δ827-24+156+Δ188-1064-306+Δ633+162-70-Δ6-240+331- Does it look like that? If so, better not press the volume keys :) BTW, you can indeed control both the screen brightness and audio volume from Penti by swiping on the screen (outside of a circle) up and down for brightness, and left and right for volume. ☺/ A!ex -- UNSUBSCRIBE: mailto:picolisp@software-lab.de?subject=Unsubscribe
