And maybe I could show with a split picoLisp/app/inventory.l why I'm interested in a possible answer to the following question: - Is it possible to factor out portions/snippets of a many-lines-of-code-function into separate definitions and use them in -- the shortened original function itself -- separate tests to approve functionality when changing the code -- extra (let ... ) bindings to visualize the effect of the snippet Of course, we could handle this towards the end of the session, if there was time or postpone it into one of the next sessions.
