'view>' is also called if you press "v" (without save). So if you prepare a file with e.g. with 'cat' or 'vim' with # VIP @lib/vip/draw.l (box 3 4 10 15) then open it with 'vip' and press "v" to view the drawing, I suspect it crashes too.
