Hi all, finally I managed to build PilBox (and also PentiKeyboard for that matter) without the bloated Android Studio, IDE and Gradle. Only using Bash, the Android Command Line Tools (SDK Manager) and the Native Development Kit (NDK).
Today I released new PentiKeyboard and PilBox versions. Target SDK was promoted to 28 (as demanded by Google for later this year). https://software-lab.de/PilBox/README describes the build procedure. It is in the section "Building the PilBox Kernel". Basically only a single bash script (and a few more to build picolisp, ssl (and emu for 32-bit devices)). Sources are as ever in https://software-lab.de/PilBox.tgz (and https://software-lab.de/PentiKeyboard.tgz). ☺/ A!ex -- UNSUBSCRIBE: mailto:picolisp@software-lab.de?subject=Unsubscribe
