[PHP-WIN] javascript :close()

Hi all,

I have a webpage with frames,i have provided a link and when the user 
clicks the link i am closing the window.
For closing i am using javascript:window.close();
when i click the link in IE i get a command window telling you are going 
to close this window.
Is there anyway to supress this alert?
