Frank, That looks good on paper, but... I am loading the extension from php.ini as you describe. When I run the site with php-cgi.exe, running phpinfo() shows me that gd is installed. When I run the site with php5isapi.dll and then run phpinfo() it doesn't appear to be loaded.
I have copied the php_gd2.dll into the main PHP 5 install directory, but havn't bothered with copying it into the windows directory, as I don't believe that this should solve my problem. Do you have any other ideas? "Frank M.
