I have the same problem, there are about 200 online users, connect my web server (Win2K Server, Apache 1.3.28, php 4.2.3). When i look at the task manager of server, there too many php.exe processes. If number of these processes is 80 or higher, apache gives "Internal Server Error". I increased "ThreadsPerChild, MaxKeepAliveRequests" settings but nothing happens... thanks Emrah...
