Ron,

What I do is this:

Firstly, $howmany is passed as a final loopcounter from the form.

for ($index = 1; $index < $howmany; $index++){
        $varname = 'varname'.$index;
        $varname = $_POST[$varname];
        //repeat process for $vars and do something
}


It works for me.
