Xitami is not a good choice for XP. I don't know why, but it has problems handling sessions properly, not to mention a few other bugs I ran into. I strongly suggest you use something like Apache, IIS (if you have XP professional, although IIS does suck quite badly lol), or even Abyss (http://www.aprelium.com). Personally, I had problems with Abyss causing my server to restart during heavy loads (It did something wrong, and bloody XP decides its gonna restart to avoid a crash :-( ), but it is the best/easiest to use Windows server i know. I like it more than Apache, if only it was stable on my pc!
