I've installed IMP from the horde project on a Windows 2000 server with IIS (no
choice, it's the
customer system).
My configuration
IIS 5.0
Windows 2000 Service Pack 3
PHP 4.4 last developpement version for today
Horde 2.1 (last stable version)
Imp 3.1 (last stable version)
My Sql 3.23.53-max-nt
on a Compaq Proliant ML350 with Dual processor Connection to an IMAP server UW-
IMAP(UNIX, this one)
Everything is working well, except that around once a day, the Web server will
freeze needing a restart.
This webmail is used for an ISP and is under great load (around 10 000
connection per day).
Do you have an Idea where I can find the cause of the freezing ?
No message in the events log (php should log there)
No message in the horde log
a message sent on the IMP mailing list show the same kind of problem on a
LINUX machine
with Apache 1.3.27, PHP 4.2.1, latest production releases of ALL Horde
tools and POSTGRES 7.2.1 on a dual XEON system with 2Gb of RAM and 70Gb HD
space with average around 10,000 connections per day as well
When the server freeze, it will use 70 % of the CPU, whereas it usually use 11%.
Thanks for any help, because I like this webmail and would like to keep it

okay, i used an old version of foxserv to install AMP.
i looked recently and i was still running php v4.0.4rl1 or something
that old.
so i tried all combo upgrading it, but to no results.
i launch apache on my win98SE test/programming machine and apache
replies with an error of:
Cannot load c:/php/sapi/php4apache.dll into server: (31) A device
attached to the system is not functioning:
weird part #1. if i replace the php4ts.dll in c:\windows\system32 with
the old version from 4.0.4, apache runs and so does php in it.
weird part #2. if i run "php.exe < test.php", the header says version
4.2.3. this is if i still have 4.2.3's php4ts.dll...
so what dll files should be where?
what does "php4.apache.ddl" need?
what am i missing if i stay with 4.0.4? security issues with that older
version?
thanks...

Hi,
i want to send a mail with unicode contents, what is the "content-type" and
"content-transfer-encoding"??
The content-transfer-encoding is irrelevant. You may send it with
anything that encodes 8 bit data with 7 bit text, like base64 or
quoted-printable. What idiom is the message you want to send?
You may want to try using this class to compose and send your messages
as it supports many idioms including Asian idioms.

Hi Every one,
Do you know how to prepare and display process flow diagrams dynamically
based on some data from database. I have information about some processes in
the database that tells different process dependencies. I need to display
that information as a process flow diagram.
I am using PHP 4.xx and IIS on Win NT platform. Please help me if you know
how to do.
Thank You,
Sridhar Moparthy

Im going to dig around a bit more in the registry for IIS6 and see if there
arent any key's that need to be modified also. I'll let you know when I
find out more.
And yes, I'll be more than glad to assist you in testing the installer.
That's why Im here ;)
