John, are you SURE you have been using the semi colon without errors John?? Check your old code, I think you`ll find a semi colon definitely isn`t allowed in any reasonably current version of mysql / PHP. You may be thinking of queries that you enter into such utilities as mysql-Front or mysqlAdmin which do expect the semi colon (I think).
