I still think you should invest some time in study the Hyper Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP) and the Hyper Text Markup Language (HTML) at www.w3.org, they explain everything you need to know in order to make an implementation correct: anything else found at the web, or elsewhere, is derived from those specifications. If you understand how to read those specifications, you will for about 99,125% never, ever, need any other sources of help when it comes to the creepy details.
