Hmm...

the first thing you should to do is to validate HTML
output generated from your script. Second - to check
if JS embeded in your page works correctly in
problematic browsers. You must recognize the source of
problems.

I've met such problem once - with old IE4 and it was
an IE bug with dynamicly generated pages, I don't
remember exactly the error name... hmm.. transfer
chunk encoding or similiar. But I'm afraid it's not
your case.
