A client is having trouble setting up SMTP services on their Windows NT machine so PHP can access it through the mail() function.
SMTP is set to mail.theserver.com in the php.ini. Mail() works when set to a different mail server. PHP and the mail services are on the same machine. The SMTP server is open on port 25 and resolves locally. A MX record has been defined. Any suggestions on what else needs to be done?
