first, i know this is not a group for apache. but i cant find any group that discuss apache (or newssever that has one). i use apache 1.3.20 with PHP4.1.0 on windows98SE the url is http://10.10.10.32 (you cant access it. its on a LAN) i have a subdirectory called blunt. but if i typed http://10.10.10.32/blunt my browser cant find the index page (i did have an file called index.htm on it). i work with dreamweaver4 and it always produce html page with .htm extension. is this the problem? does apache only serve webpage file with .html extension? another question. did having php4 means i can run cgi script on my server or sholud i install or modify somethin on the httpd.conf? thanx for your time
