im using apache1.3 on my window98 with php4 just to test my page before upload it to a hosting server. now im tryin to use some free script downloaded from the net (a guestbook script) and on the instalation manual it tell me to chmod a file and a directory to 777. its not a problem on remote server, because on my ftp client i just right click and chmod them.no problem. but how can i do that on my own window PC? sorry if this is a st0opid question..;) but i realy dont know would anyoe help? thax advanced
