I tried the new ISAPI module and didn't have must success.

After reloading a page containing ONLY "<? phpinfo(); ?>" 3 times, I got
the '-2147417842 (0x8001010e)' error message. After that IIS was crashed.

My system:
p3 500mhz
w2k pro, sp2 (plus the latest updates)
php4.1.0

Maybe I'm missing something obvious but the error message I get is very
familiar from earlier PHP versions.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Did you install php4ts.dll in c:\winnt\system32 ?

I don't have your bug with the same kind of systems.

Yepp, but I made another (silly) mistake when setting the file system
permissions.

Having corrected that, it works better. But now, when I reload a page
say 50 times fast, I get "PHP has encountered an Access Violation at
01510A6E".

I am not using any extensions.

Hello:

I'm going to be developing a couple of projects. Right now the development
platform is Win98, Apache, Php and a database (MySQL or Firebird). When
finished the projects will be migrated to a Linux hosting system using
Apache. Anybody know what problems and pitfalls I can expect migrating a
project from Win development to Linux hosting?

With all respect, the linux list might be better suited to answer that. ;)

Either way, there shouldn't be a problem, it'll still be apache/php and
mysql on the linux box. I'm not sure how you'd go about transferring the
data from the Win98 version of mysql to the linux one if you need that
though. There are very likely to be utilities around that do that sort of
thing for you though.
