I installed Apache/1.3.19 (Win32) PHP/4.0.5 on my Win2000 pro box (Chinese). Also changed php.ini to enable php_pgsql.dll extension. While trying to connect to a postgre database on linux box using pg_connect(), I got this error message. Warning: Unable to connect to PostgreSQL server: pqReadData() -- backend closed the channel unexpectedly. This probably means the backend terminated abnormally before or while processing the request. But using my psql (based on Cygwin) on same Win2K box to connect using same account info, I got connected smoothly. Anyone happened to same situation?
