Alomost forgot

put this between 2 and 3.

You need to start the mysql demon by typing c:\mysql\bin\mysqld on win 9x
(this need will need to be run on every boot)
         or on NT/2000 c:\mysql\bin\mysqld-nt --install to install it as a service.
