    Yes, John, you can filter it out.  The problem is that some folks,
rather than take a moment to unsubscribe from the list, mark the
messages as SPAM when they decide they no longer wish to receive them.
 This means that some messages get bounced to abuse addresses and
similar mechanisms.  Once the department responsible manually removes
the entry (or it expires) the bounces will stop.  In the meantime, the
best option is just to ignore them.
