I have tried installing PHP 4.1 as a SAPI module of Apache1.3 .My OS is Windows XP.As per the instructions in the manual i added the lines
"Loadmodule php4_module C:/PHP/sapi/php4apache.dll
AddType application/x-httpd-php.php "
alongwith
"AddModule mod_php4.c" to the httpd.conf file in apache.
The pathnames are all valid
However after addition of these lines apache does not start up again and the message i receive is-
" Apache Service started and then stopped"
I am just starting up with using PHP.Can someone help me????
