You are correct, I did forget to say what the error was. You guessed correctly, it was a Not Found error. I checked my httpd.conf file and discovered I had the DocumentRoot set, but it was incorrect. A slight change and my test.php came up like a charm. One related question: can the DocumentRoot be anywhere (any drive/folder), or does it have to be under the Apache folder?
