I'm getting this error trying to configure 4.3.8 under Mac OS X 10.3.4
(Panther):
./configure --with-mysql --with-apxs
.
.
.
checking whether the C compiler (gcc ) works... no
configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C compiler
cannot create executables.
I've installed Xcode with all of the options selected. I'm stumped.
This worked on my Mac desktop. This is an iBook (G4 1GHz). I'm
clueless.
