Hmm well I will be using Sendmail since its with Red Hat Linux 9 which I am using now once I get it set up (I am doing this while I type this email out). Any idea how to set this all up or should I find a Sendmail mailing list for this?

Yes, I've done it here with both sendmail and exim, but it is not trivial. It would be too off-topic for this list. I would get a good sendmail book, but I suggest looking at Exim instead as it is easier to configure. Most importantly, ensure it will only relay email for your own computers, not for anyone else (spammers).
