My httpd.config file is huge ~ 50K. I think most of the junk in there is unneeded and I suspect is causing me more trouble than good.The standard httpd.conf file with my RH 7.2 (the last version I have that is 1.3.x rather than 2.x) is 50852 bytes. If you look at it, much is explanation rather than actual configuration.
Could some one email me a simple httpd.config file, from a working system? I'd like to look at it.
I am running SuSE 9.0 Pro, with Apache 1.3, and MySQL 4.0
TIA,

The following lines are in httpd.conf:
<IfModule mod_dtcl.c>
Uh, mod_dtcl.c is not PHP.

Any specific questions then the file should help, if not the httpd manual (I'm not familiar with a modern SuSE but it should come with it) or it is available at httpd://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/ for the V2 manual and httpd://httpd.apache.org/docs/ for the V1.3 one. If these do not cover your query then please ask, but if complex and not php related then a specific httpd mailing list might yield more results.
